Our Community Action for Prevention (CAP) programme targets communities that have the necessary infrastructure (resources) and readiness for a local intervention.
Community leaders are invited to participate in designing a local intervention and are provided with the necessary training in community planning and prevention.
Through the development of a community action plan, the community members utilize resources at their disposal to respond to the communities risk factors for drug use.
Community initiatives include :
- Beautification projects
- After school centers
- Economic /employment projects
