The National Council on Drug Abuse and its partners organized a celebration of July 15 as the day the ban against smoking in public places came into effect. The Kingston event was held in Mandella Park and featured an outside broadcast with morning HITZ host Jenny Jenny, flash mob dances, organized marches, information distribution and exhibitions. The Minister of Health Dr. Fenton Ferguson was in attendace at the event. NCDA hosted over 200 volunters who showed their support by participating in all the activities. The Council also organized marches in St. Thomas and Montego Bay. Smoke Free Finally!
